That must be refering to the boat they set a bass boat speed record with -- Stratos I believe (maybe Javelin). I think it may have been with Allen Stinson (?). <br /><br />It was supposed to be an "as produced" 150 and probably the GL model (150 with 175 heads). It may not have the 1991 port timing (thats the one that Merc and Yamaha protested) but I would bet its close if its the real motor.<br /><br />The other thing it could mean is that it was a drag motor at one time. That speed would be about right for the stock 150 bass class.<br /><br />Was it privetely owned?
