I have a 2004 Triton TR185 with a 175HP Johnson OB.. I am trying to find the diagnostic port. Anyone know where it is.

This boats VRO has been removed and the low oil sensor and no oil sensor has been disconnected. I mix the oil 50:1 in the fuel tanks. The boat has been running fine for over 2 years but the other day the LOW OIL and NO OIL alarms started buzzing and LED lite stays on. I can't figure out why because there are no sensors connected to the connectors. I purchased the diagnostic software and cable for the engine but can't find the port to plug the cable in.HELP!:grumpy:

Having retired from OMC in 1991, I have no idea where that port might be... BUT... it's possible a sensor has indeed shorted out... OR... the horn itself has failed and is causing a conflict.

To test the horn, simply remove the TAN wire from the horn while it is sounding off. If the horn continues to sound with that wire removed, replace the horn. If on the other hand... if the horn stops sounding the instant that wire is removed, consider the horn to be okay.

whats the model #....I guess we are assuming the motor is a 2004 as well?????? I THINK they made fuel injected johnsons in 2004....but we need to know the model # to know what motor you actually have.
