brian i was thinkig all day about what you asked on the timing part....the timing can't really be set till all parts are were they should be...this may mean it'll need to reset...or checked....

YES anytime you unhook anything on the towershaft(upper end) The timing should be checked.
He didn't say anything was wrong just wanted a pic.
