diagrams for waterpump install 1982 140 johnson

I have a "seloc" book but I am not sure of o ring placement and the directions are not that good and dont really give you a step by step so you know exactly where to place the o rings , I bought a complete kit with the houseing the old houseing had a o ring in between the houseing and liner but not sure if that is correct. Checked the search forum found one with pic`s but does not answer that question ,any advice would help. Thanks again Bill

The newer impellers have a deeper recess on one side (bottom) for the o-ring.

The second 0-ring goes in the recess between the housing and the housing liner.

The third o-ring goes in the groove below the splines at the top of the driveshaft.
