where do you find a dial indicator that will srew into parkplug hole to time a merc outboard

ok im confused about using a dial indicator to set my timing pointer ,i have a 115 hp merc serial oc106992
the book says to rotate the flywheel counterclockwise until the needle reads .600 " btdc then rotate flywheel clockwise until needle reads exactly .554" btdc here is a link to a dial indicator doesnt look like this one would work as it doesnt measure that small increments or does it i guess im not understanding something can anyone explain this in more detail thanks in advance Dial Indicator Timing Set Gauge First Place parts http://www.harborfreight.com/1-inch-travel-machinists-dial-indicator-623.html

Most any 1" dial indicator will work even one without the part that screws into the plug hole or if you can make of have a mount to hold it in place. If you don't like the first one then Google a dial indicator there are many types and cheaper priced one out there.

im confused to what numbers to use to find .554 and .600 my book [seloc] says to use these numbers on a dial indicator , is this right or do i use the numbers on the flywheel
