so i am having problems with my port riser ,getting very hot ,so i took port riser off ,not thinking anything about it i unbolted the thunderbolt iv igntion module from the riser ,unclipped the harness from ignition module took riser off checked and reinstalled port riser and reinstalled ignition module ,no i get no spark ,engine turns but no spark checked everything (engine ran before taking port riser off ,then i read that spacers between ignition module bracket and riser should not be taking off ,and if so must be replaced has any one had this issue is it that spacer is not making ground connection now that i disturbed it, can you run a wire ground ignition module black wire from spacer to motor ground to get connection ,if i cannot get ground on ignition bracket

there should be a ground wire at the module that goes one of the mounting bolts and possably one from the dist base.
the plate does not supply the ground connection
