Did Monterey boats use plywood in the floor or transom in 1999 180M boats?

I posted this in the Monterey section but got no replies so I am re-posting here.

So I have a 1999 180M w/ Volvo 4.3GL that I purchased last fall......after an intensive but short research period.

Where I live (northern Colorado) there are not many Monterey's (I only have seen 1 other at
the local lake since then and never before) so I had literally zero experience or local knowledge with them.

One of the things that sold me on the boat was the original (who owned it from day 1) owners
statement that Monterey used little if any wood in the floor and/or transom.

Can anyone confirm, deny or qualify that statement?

When I inspected it I crawled all over it with my head and a flashlight and the only places
I could find evidence of wood was in the seat bases, the "wall" in front of the transom (that hides the
battery, fuel tank and trim pump) and in the shelf that runs around
the perimeter of the boat.

I don't know about the stringers....the original owner didn't say anything about them.

I have drilled some new holes in the floor to install a new battery box (went from a 24M to 27M size)
and the shavings that came out were fiberglass and not wood (I filled in the old ones with 5200).

Any information would be appreciated so I know what to expect as I do more work on the boat.

There is wood in the transom. A 1999 likely has wood in other area's as well.

Typically you will find wood in fiberglass flooring as a stiffener material. All you need to do is look from below up at the flooring and you should be able to tell if it is wood being used as a stiffener or another material like foam.
