did tohatsu make any small motors for merc in mid 80's

did tohatsu make any of mercurys smaller hp motors, like 20 and under.......? i know that they have made smoe of the really small ones recently, like 5hp and under, and that yamaha makes some of the 4 strokes, and suzuki makes johson 4 stroke... and so on... but what about in the 80's?<br /><br />mike
