So now that the Chum dumpster is pretty much done, we are bored. We have been given the opportunity to get a free tri hull with a volvo penta, (engine unknown) and trailer. The boat is thrashed. It is the exact hull that we just got done building. So, how much would a volvo penta and trailer be worth? How would you dispose of a boat hull?

We are debating restoring it or just stripping it for the things of value. If we resto we prob wont be able to make any sort of profit. Especially in this economy.

I wouldn't restore it. It wouldn't fulfill any boating need for you guys since it's so similar to the awesome boat you already have. Plus being a tri-hull it isn't going to be particularly sought after when you go to sell it. I'd part it out. Put the bare hull on CL for free. If that doesn't work, chainsaw it up and throw it out.
