died under load 3/4 throttle

i have a 2005 350 l 4bbl bravo 2 . it started popping in carb , lost power died going into port. i let it sit for about a hour ,started it no problem ,ran ok to marina about another 20 min away , in a no wake zone.tested fuel all good

What do the spark plugs look like for color, 'n condition,..??

plugs are champs ,no color discoloration ,clean no black . i have a fuel tester , cks for water, vapor content for fuel volatility it and cks for other impurities in the fuel .
