Have a '05 5.0L MPI 260HP and took her out yesterday for the first time this year. Left the dock before fully warmed up. Was out about 10 minutes and started to head in due to rain. Was at low rpms and she died. Wouldn't restart. Fortunately we were real close to the dock when she died. Unfortunately I didn't think to look at the temp gauge but was probably warmed up. Today she started right up and I shut her down. I'm going to try her again after the lake activity has quit for the day and let her warm all the way up and see what happens. I suspect she will die again. To me this sounds like a fuel cooler issue.
