difference between 40 hp and 50 hp Johnston

I was on thier website and I cant see a difference between motors. Seems there is a rev limitor on the 40 take a look and tell me what you think. How do you adjust it so that the rpms are higher

Dunno what years you have...carb is bigger, induction manifold could be different and might be a tuned exhaust pipe installed in the leg for the 50, might also have different intake and exhaust port timing(factory machine work)

its a 2003 seems only like a rev limiter
