Difference between an Evinrude 88 and a 90 hp

I have an E88TSLED, but it has power tilt and trim. I did not think that 88SPL came with tilt and trim. My manual shows 88 as manual. 90 has power tilt and trim. I think the T is power tilt and M is manual. not sure why the book shows the 88 as manual.

Also what is the difference in the 88 vs 90 as far as making more HP? is it just timing or carbs also?

Marketing and decal.-----The original concept was no trim / tilt or oil injection on the 88 HP models.-----There is no difference between an 88 and 90 HP model.
