Difference between plugs

Wha is the difference between Champion # QL-76V and L-76V. My engine (Merc Sport Jet 90) lists the QL-76V plugs as optional.<br /><br />Which do you reccomend for this engine?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Ken

QL is a resistor plug - L is not.<br /><br />

As he said...<br /><br />The Q is a suppressor (resister) type plug that will not cause interference with other electrical equipment. Depth finders, VHF, etc.<br /><br />So just depends if you are having problems with any electrical equipment. You can't really go wrong with the Q-type; they still have very low resistance. They may cost you a little more though.
