The the gear ratios are different but they will interchange. The bolt pattern on V4's (since 1978), V6's and V8's are the same. The quickest way to tell without measuring is the V6 prop shaft uses a fine thread. The V6's typically use a larger diameter prop. 3 blade props are usually in the 14" diameter range.<br /><br />Good luck!
