I have a Mercury V6 200 HP?
Powerhead Ser# D137049
Leg Ser# 6110255
I would like to ascertain what I have here. Firstly are they compatable? Secondly identity for parts ordering.
BOB (Laddies) answered this previously but left with the note "could be different" leading me to reask the question.
I am not satisfied with output is the reason for asking compatability question. I have an 18' Bass boat use 19 pitch prop at 3000 ft. elevation and it's a dog out the hole. I am currently working on Carb overhaul because it did sit for a while and I feel it that they are gummed up. ERGO Ser# for parts which started this Thread.
Thanks for any help

Re: Different Ser# on powerhead and leg

From the numbers you provided it looks like the powerhead is a 1992 with EFI and the leg portion seems to be a 1982 vintage. Quit an age gap but I don't know whether or not they are compatible.
