different types of car inspection stickers

Here in NY state there are 2 different types of vehicle state inspection stickers.One type describes the vehicle with large exp date typed on it and the other is much smaller and a small punch out hole for the exp. date and no vehicle info.Anyone know the difference??

One guess, some NY counties require a combination Safety and Emissions Inspection, some require only the Safety Inspection.

Down state NEW cars dont have to pass the Emissions Inspection for two years Saftey only<br /><br />The big one has info to cut down on fraud and all the machines have video for big brother to watch now <br /><br /><br />Then they get on the machine with the rest of us <br /><br /><br />tommays
