I have some pelican dinghy dolly wheels on my dinghy. Which are hard plastic. It is very hard to pull through the soft sand does any one know what a better alternative for this would be. Thanks

Re: Dinghy wheels

I've had exactly the same problem with these wheels that are fitted to my inflatable boat. I have just bought 3 inflatable rollers from international marine supplies http://www.imsupplies.plus.com/oldShop/itmidx13.htm and if the weather is good next week I will hopefully be trying them out on a soft beach. I will let you know how they work.

Re: Dinghy wheels

There's a company called Danard Marine that makes a very well design set of dingy wheels. The tires are inflatable and about 3.5" wide and pretty much like the tires on contractors wheel barrows. They might work better than hard plastic ones but it is really a function of how wide the tires are.

There is a company in California, danard marine that makes a nice set of wheels. They also gaurantee them, unheard of with others. Many of us in Mexico have replaced thers wheels with these.
