I noticed that when I replaced the floor in my newly acquired project boat that there was a buildup of dirt and mud under the floor. This stuff usually drains through the drain plug but I guess after years (the boat is a 77) it just built up...does anyone have a suggestion for getting rid of it?

Welcome to iboats.

Shovel? Shop Vac? Or just wash it out the drain hole?

I was thinking just now to take the thing over to the car wash and blow some high pressure into the drain hole and through the deck drain...I'll give it a try....thanks
