I have been having trouble starting my 1983 Johnson 90hp V4 for about a week. I managed to get salt water in the fuel system. This morning, I noticed a small puddle of something coming from the prop. The substance is black and kinda looks like grease but doen't feel the same as grease. Also noticed where this substance has leaked from seal where the prop is attached to the foot. Does anyone have any ideas what this stuff is and what could be causing it to leak out? Thanks for the help.
