i purchased a lund wc14ft aluminum boat in october ,and just got to take it out last sunday to lake mead for a couple of days, when i got home i noticed that the bottom and sides from where the boat rested in the water, had like a water mark which dulled the aluminum and had like a rainbow effect to it,does anybody know how i can return it to the shine i had,and maybe put some kind of finish over the top once cleaned ,so that every time i go out i don't have to scrub this boat, and also is there a paint that i can use if i decide to paint the boat from where it rests in the water and down?

thanks and have a nice day

Re: discoloration

Once you clean off the gunk and sludge which is caused by exhaust and trash in the water...... you can polish the aluminum and then look up SHARKHYDE which is a liquid that will protect polished aluminum. I have not used it but other iboaters have raved about it.
