Remove the oil line at the engine and plug the inlet (engine side). Disconnect the wires going to the oil resevoir. Disconnect the plug directly under the oil pump. Mix 50:1 and go boating.

Pretty easy job ...1st find out the capacity of your Gas tank, fill it up at this point add the correct oil ratio amount ...

2nd pull the fuel line going to the VRO/ fuel pump and pump it manually tell you see the pre mix stuff start to come out then connect the line back , the reason for doing that is you want to make sure the Carb will get the pre mix directly not the fuel was left setting in the hose without the oil ...Then go boating

or better option, get the oil system serviced and go boating!

Ditto. Disconnecting the system means you have to disconnect the alarms and protection associated with the system - a bad idea...

well the motors been sitting for a few years and i dont know how to make sure its working properly, i can drain the oil tank and refill it with fresh oil. any other thing i can do to insure its working, i think someone has put a electric fuel pump on it because there is no primer bulb anywhere other than on the oil tank

The electric fuel pump is another bad idea. To insure the pump is working you can run the motor on 50:1 in the tank and mark the oil level on the oil tank. Run the boat until you've went thru 10 gallons or so and check the oil level, it should have dropped.

Cleaning the oil tank and starting with fresh fuel is a very good idea. You'll be cleaning the carbs anyway since the motor has sat for so long.

Dhad is right, it wont hurt to run your motor a little rich, may foul the plugs up a little, but mixing 50-60 gal with a funnel, measuring device, and a mess usually will get old. The VRO is a good system.
