disconnecting the black/yellow kill wire?

can i run the boat without this wire.it is a saftey device i know of this. but i cant get the boat to run unless i keep it disconnect it..i cut it at the motor left and right side boat runs great like this. connect them and it wont start.oil is fine/ fuel fine/no overheating. no apparent problems at all..just wont run with it connected.

You can run without it but you won't be able to shut the motor off with the ignition switch. Its shorted to ground somewhere. Probably your emergency kill switch or defective ignition switch.
