YEP, i flash my VA card, all the time. it adds up quickly.

I may have to break out the VA or Retirement ID more often. I need to see a source, though. I think many of those places only offer discounts on certain days. Home Depot and Lowes, for example, only offer discounts on Veteran's Day I think.

They would all go broke if they all did that everyday next to Fort Hood.:)

Never hurts to ask!!! Also if you live in Florida and have a retiree ID card you can get the Gold Sportsman license for $20 a year. You just have to go to your local Tax Office and ask for it.

Like wajajaja02 said, every day at Lowe's. One just has to ask; I show them my VA claim card (I really need to dig out my DAV card).

Those close to a military base may operate differently, or jack prices up 10%.
