Thanks for consistently ignoring all my threads, folks! Is it because Im from Germany or what? Every ****ty posting in here gets at least a couple of more or less stupid answers- mine do not. Unfortunatly I dont know how to delete my older postings but if the guy whos running this is at least reading this thread here: Please remove everything fom me and erase my name and login from this board- Im done and will not bother your all-american forum any longer!
Long live "homeland- security"- by the way: weve had something similar over here a couple of decades ago- you guys should know better.....
With final greetings,
Rotty

Re: Discrimination...

Guten Tag, Rotti!

I'm not sure I understand your problem? Your country of origin has nothing to do with the amount of responses you get - you may however experience a lack of interest when you refer to German stuff as the majority of members are American.

I'm surprised nobody started out by recommending you got yourself a manual.

You should read this post: http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=009035

A quick browse through your posts makes it clear, that many have tried to help you:

Topic: Honda B100L 10hp cooling-water?
You don't state any specific ID - makes it hard to comment on it. On the moved post you get responses.

Topic: OB placement at transom?
You got an answer - the problem has been discussed in detail here many times and the basics really are basic (covered in any manual and in detail in specialist material - you're welcome to get the free booklet on my homepage).
Do a search on the forum for 'mounting height' or x-dimension.

Topic: Manual Tilt on 40hp Evinrude VRO
Again you don't state enough specific data to really let anybody give you a meangingful answer
Suppose posting the same topic twice was a mistake?

Topic: To VRO or Not VRO...
Got plenty answers. A search on the forum for 'VRO' would return enough reading for one whole day.

Topic: Evinrude 40hp VRO manual tilt again- nobody know´s something?!
Plenty of response - especially when you get your info together and state he motor ID

Topic: fuel mixture ratio for 1969 Johnson 33hp?
Got one correct answer

Topic: Chrysler 700 skier vs. Johnson 70hp?
You got the clearest answer - the same a thorought search on the forum would have produced.

Topic: Conversion Suzuki DT6 to DT8?
You got an answer from a real specialist. Again a search on the forum would return plenty of oppinions.

Topic: Honda BF50 gear ratio's
Even though this forum is not a trading place, you got replies to most of your (numerous) questions.

Topic: Honda B100L 10hp lower-unit
Again, you got an answer

Topic: Year of 35hp Honda? Lower-unit wanted!!! and c: ... again 35hp, forgot something:
Still: This is not a trading place. And use the EDIT function instead og starting a new post to add info to an exisiting.

Topic: URGENT- need info on Honda 35hp, please!
You got an answer, exactly the one you were looking for

Topic: Converting Honda BF35 to BF45
Another case where a search would enlighten you. This has been up on plenty occasions.

Can't see other than you get a good deal of benefit from this site so you've got no reason for feeling let down.

PS! If you think it makes a difference, remove the Germany-info from your profile,

Re: Discrimination...

Thanks, UU. Excellent post..

Rotti, I don't think it matters to anyone here that you are in Germany.

You are getting answers to your posts that are clear and provide enough information.

This might help a bit. Check it out.

http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=009035

Moving to NTDWB

Good luck. :)

Re: Discrimination...

Rotti, just did a search using your id # and it seems that you have only replied to one post ,and even that one you stole the guys thread and asked a question for yourself. Take a long look at yourself in the mirror. I'm positive it has nothing to do w/ the fact that your from Germany. This board doesn't work that way IMHO

Re: Discrimination...

Hey Tylerin, I'm down here in New Zealand and there'd be even less reason to listen to anybody here than in Germany. Yet I get my fair share of replies. I guess you just have keep making the effort.
Don't give up on us, there's a wealth of knowledge here and perhaps once we get the gist of your style we'll reply........
Ross

Rotti, I've had the pleasure of personally knowing a good number of German citizens. I can say I've admired almost every one of them.

All your posts that I've seen looked like you had done your homework or were getting the help you needed.

Schtik around a little longer.

I'llbethesame, hier Rotti :)

Re: Discrimination...

My wife's Great Grandparents are Litz, even though German, he was an American Navy man, and went down, and survived one ship sinking (I think torpedoed). Even though burnt severely, being stuck in the Salt Water, seemed to be helpful to his survivial.
So being German has nothing to do with me not replying, Rotti, some of us just can't help if we don't know! Before accusing the whole group of ignoring you, try posting a general topic in the "Nothing to do about Boats" section, or "Boat topics, Not Engine Topics". Looks like you got plenty of feedback on this thread. Keep trying, You may find that some of us are even interested in learning differences in boating in different countries, and different customs. You may find yourself helping to build a bridge instead of burning them down.

GodsBeast
