I have a 21.5 ft cuddy cabin with dual batteries mounted by the engine which is a V-8 in/out.
Would relocating the batteries to the front cabin be worth the expense, to liten the load in the rear of the boat? Would it actually make a difference?
Since this is a 1986 and it never needed done I cant see it making a difference. Im just thinking of ways to move weight from the rear of the boat to prevent bottoming out at low tides.

Re: distributing weight

Remember the 50 or so lbs. added to the bow is more like 100lbs because your also taking weight out of the rear, you get a doubling effect so it will make more difference than you would think in handling, but for draft I don't know.
