I am waiting on my manual for a 1981 Johson 90 but in the meantime I was wondering where my distributor cap is. I have no spark to one plug and am hoping the points are fouled.<br /><br />Thanks in advance!
Sorry , no cap on two stroke outboards.each cylinder gets its fire from powerpack discharged through separate coils.Power pack recieves its signal from timing plate under flywheel.
For those outboards using a distributor cap/points type ignition system (yours isn't one of them), the cap is located under the flywheel. <br />Backlash
