On my Volvo Penta 5.0 GI PWTR from 1999, I would like to know your if the Distributor Cap is OK?.
I send 2 photos, before and after cleaning. There are too much burning, wear or corrosion?.
The Distributor Cap Shaft also has corrosion and I use WD 40 to remove the corrosion. It is sufficient or should I use some grease?
Before the cleaning, the engine starts well and runs properly.
Thanks, Almeida

I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Looks like it cleaned up pretty well to me.
