Hi all,
I need to pull my "new" project boat off the trailer for some bottom paint and keel repair. Anyone have a good idea for some DIY adjustable boat stands for lateral stability? Luckily (or unluckily) I recently had a large tree blow down in my yard which I plan to use for keel support, but I need something for lateral support. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a tripod with threaded rod like is used at the boat yards for lack of knowledge of anything else, but I'm certainly open to options. Any ideas? I don't have a welder or even know how to use one if I did, but I suppose I'm willing to learn with the help of a buddy if need be.
For reference, the boat is a flybridge 23 footer which weighs about 4600 lbs. Thanks!
