There was no mention of it on the manufacturer's site. These are for fuel lines btw. Thanks.

AN fittings are commanly used on race cars/hot rods. The A/N stands for Aircraft/Navy. They do not need a sealer. If not mistaken they use a 37 degree JIC taper seal. Make sure theres no burrs on the threads or the mating surfaces and all is good.

For additional info- The size divided by 2 is how many 1/8's of an inch it is. Lets say you have a #8 line and fitting, its a 1/2" size while a #6 is a 3/8".

They don't need sealer, but never-seize is a good idea since they have a tendency to gall.

Don't use anything you don't want in your fuel system eventually. I use AN fittings for aircraft heat exchanger designs and all we use is a light primer mask to separate dissimilar metals. No sealer required if threads are clean and to spec.
