Do engine block repairs work?

Hello all. I have a 3.0L with a cracked block. Just wondering if repair work or is it time for a new block? Man that sounds expensive or time consuming. Thanks for reading.

it works to have it repaired.
But you have to weigh the costs, and the availability of the block.
Also it has to be done by a "Competent Person". Not any old guy with a hot glue gun. and this will cost ya.

Depends where its cracked. If its outside from water jacket to air, no big deal. If its internal from water to oil, forget it.
