Do I Have An Evinrude 110?

My Boston Whaler Montauk came with a 1990... 89... something Evinrude 110 two cycle motor... but I can never find any reference to a 110 HP model by Evinrude? The fellas I bought it from said it was a 110 and it has 110 on the back of the cowl in raised letters... painted over in a crummy blue. I'll be restoring the appearance soon... luckily it's running well but I need maintenance info. Help!

OMC made a 110 in 1989. It's the high performance crossflow V4 engine that year-with the bubble back exhaust. You can check factory the parts lists for your model engine at the Bombardier website: epc.brp.com

what is the model number??

the cover numbers do not mean anything...that cover fits an 85, an 88, a 90 a 100 a 110, a 115 hp outboard !!!

WITH OUT THE MODEL NUMBER ON THE STERN BRACKET

or on one of the freeze out plugs on the top of the block, you cant be sure with out very experienced knowledge..( where the model number is located)
