Do I have to recalibrate my carbs?

I have a 1999 Johnson 50 hp, and this model has dual carbs. I recently converted my fuel pump from the VRO to a regular block pump. When I ran my boat the other day it sounded as if the carbs weren't getting enough gas or maybe to much gas. Do I have to recalibrate my carbs after doing this conversion? If so how many turns should it take?

You should not need to readjust your carbs. The only adjustment you have is low speed.

ok because I read on another forum that on the pre VRO engines the dial needed to be turned 1 1/2 and with the VRO it needed to be turned 3 1/2 times, any idea on what could be causing my engine not to perform the way it should?

Exactly what is your engine doing? Getting to much gas, maybe not enough gas does not explain your problem very well.

The engine runs fine in idle, and low rpm's. When I am at full throtle, it begins to bog out.
