I have a 89 Force 85 hp, I broke the throttle and bought a Morse Replacement http://www.ebay.com/itm/231532433150?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I had a similar US Marine that I broke
When I went to install the throttle the shifter for F & R works fine however my throttle cable wants to be pushed back in to open up and the arm on the throttle wants to pull it out further which keeps it at idle and the cable is already pulled out 3/4 of the way.
So my question is it a bad cable, stretched out and now works backwards, or is there an adjustment on the throttle to push the cable backwards instead of pulling it or did I buy the wrong throttle??
