do I need a new flywheel?

I am replacing a pre 86 350 in a volvo 280 leg boat with a late 90's vortec 350 out of a truck(of course adding all the marine necessary parts). Will my existing flywheel work or do I need a new one. If I need a new one what do I look for?

The answer to my question(after some online searching) I thought I would post so others will know. 92 and later engines had a different bolt pattern on the crank so therefore my pre 92 flywheel will not fit my post 92 engine.....yaaah me! I get to spend more money on my boat, I'll just have to convince myself that the new flywheel will increase the horsepower lots and is worth the extra money

Ayuh,... Actually, the change takes place at the end of 86, begining of 87....
It's the 2pc. rear main seal, vs. the 1pc. seal...
