I need to know if my power head is bad on my 15 hp gamefisher 225581505. The guy that I bought the boat from ran it with a bad water pump and let it get real hot, enough to melt the plastic on the starter where it bolts to the motor, and blew the head gasket. Replaced the water pump and head gasket. Started the motor and noticed it dripping water in between the cylinder cover and exhaust cover (cracked). The motor runs great and has good power but the crack has me concerned. I talked to someone that said it was no big deal leaking a little water. I took the exhaust cover off and tried putting some jb weld on it to seal it up but it still leaks, just a small drip. should I be concerned or just live with it.
