I am in the process of converting to the old style fuel pump on my 88 70hp vro. I have read that you need to remove the "pulse limiter" and replace it with a nipple for the old style pumps. Is this the case or can I just hook up the pulse line to where the vro pulse line hooked? What exactly does the ?pulse limiter? do?

The pulse limiter keeps a backfire from blowing the diaphragm in the VRO or OMS pumps. If the pulse limiter is blue and gold, you can just leave it.
