I looking at a 2004 24' Aquasport walk around with hard top. It has two 115 yamaha's seems underpowered. Does anybody have a opinion about the fuel and power for this boat. thanks.

I didn't look it up, but if my memory serves me, that's a 300 Hp boat. 230Hp is minimal at best.

Workarounds are power hungry. The close you can get to max. HP the better the boat will perform.

Your twin 115 motors will use about 24 gallons per hour at wot.
MPG will depend on the speed.

You could maximize top engine wot rpm for that boat with high thrust props to optimize performance. What's your max wot rpm lightly loaded on flat calm no wind waters ?

Happy Boating
