Do they all have plastic fittings

I've just found a cracked 90 degree fitting that the quick disconnect screws into on my plastic 6 gal gas tank , which is now a discontinued Tempo tank and West Marine doesn't know where to find replacement parts for a 5 year old discontinued tank. Which brand of tank do you folks recommend and do these above deck plastic tanks all have plastic fittings. And I do realize that is was OE that caused the crack..not use to working with plastic fittings.....thanks .....Ray

Find an old school metal tank.

Well wouldn't ya know it....I took the metal tanks off shortly after I got the boat and replaced them with plastic.....I guess I'll go down to the shed and haul them back out and see how good the inside still is....bgc thanks for the suggestion...........Ray
