Just woundering if there is a manufacturer that does now or did make a O/B motor that was a tiller but yet still be a remote at the same time?

Long shaft with high gears.

In addition to the OMC's, my 1972 Merc 20 hp is. I think all tillers can be remote, except maybe the really small ones

you can leave the tiller connected with most motors, and use remote controls. but you have to disconnect remote cables in order to use the motor as a tiller motor.
