this is how I converted it, I tried to place it as high up as possible what do you think?

I'm not exactly sure where the water line would be on these kinda boats I hope i have it up far enough

did flappers come in the new exhaust pipes and if not did you install any??

if not you can bet water will enter when you come off plane and the wave hits the transom

Well I took the tips off one of my old Sleeks I parted out, and the flappers were shot, so yeah now im thinkin i might have to buy flappers, I didnt think about the coming off plane part, thanks man. I jus kinda thought I was high enough past the water line

Put the flappers on for sure. We used to have a Donzi years ago, and it had a similar looking transom with the Volvo and the through-hulls. Coming off plane hard would wash water over the transom and onto the engine hatch cover, easily 8" higher than the exhaust ports.
