98 merc 115 2stroke. Runs perfect although when it gets to about 2000rpm, it jumps up straght away to 3000 rpm. Is this normal? because od the 2+2 system? Acceleration is smooth to 2000 then jumps to 3000 then smooth to 5200.<br /><br />cheers

Try checking the sycn on the carb pick up
