i have a cover that i got from a buddy, its waterproof but its only good for trailering/when boat is on the trailer. put it on the boat when it was on the dock and it looks like it would blow off. so put 3 straps under the boat to make it from not blowing off. now it shouldn't blow off. now im looking for cover i can put on boat when boat is tied up to the dock. want one with shock cord (do they still make them? have an old one but it leaks) 
the boat is 17' VIP Vison. how much would a factory cover be from VIP? my dad really like that one but it got old and ripped. thanks
