Dodge Neon interior door panel help

Twice now I have purchased new clips to reattach the inside drivers door panel in this Neon. I havn't found exact replacements for the original but what I used looked to be about the same. I insert the new clips in the panel... try my best to line them all up with the holes in the metal door. Then break half of them when trying to push them in. Before long the panel is hanging off again.<br /><br /> Anyone have any tips on the correct way to reattach the panel?

Why not buy ones from the dealer? Probably more money but they will fit.<br /><br />Bob

Well Bob, I took your advise and it was right on.<br /><br />More money - you bet... six of those little plastic clips cost $14.60. Ouch!<br /><br />But they did fit right in and seem to hold it secure this time. Thanks!
