The weight of an early '90's model 9.9 Merc 2-stroke?

I'm looking for an Aux. mount bracket for it and want to be sure to get one the next size up so the springs are strong enough.

Well if I have to carry the engine it seems like 150#s
However the book says 69#s dry.
