Does anyone else have a problem with 1998 200 evinrude

Just wondering if anyone have electronics problem, it seems averytime I turn around the power pack shorts, starter selenoid stops, regulator stops charging trim tilt relays stop working other than that srong motor. Just wondering. I heard the 96-99 were tough on electrical

Everything you mentioned points to poor connections. Especially grounds.
