Probably changes with where you measure.Transom thick,elsewhere variable.<br /><br />What are you trying to do ?<br /><br />DHP

I ordered a wakeboard tower and need to see if I will need to build up the fiberglass.

That tower is probably going to mount to the upper hull deck. With sufficient backing plates (aluminum or stainless) you should be fine. In most cases the thickness in an area the tower will mount is probably 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick.

That's a Vec hull? You may find it difficult to be able to get to the backside of the fasteners. You may have to cut access holes and cover them with cover plates

Yeah it is VEC. Dang it! I have to cut access holes. That is going to look really bad.
