I just bought a mercury 65 hp engine The only model # I found was on the coil pack..Model # 4D is this the model # I have the serial # 1623793 also..I only paid $300 for it..runs great.. Does anyone no the oil mixer also
Is it a four cylinder? If so, it looks like it's a 1964 model and it was around 1964 when fuel/oil ratios went from 24:1 to 50:1.I'd get a manual just to be sure. At wfo that engine will burn about 6.5 gph of fuel.
best to see 4 yurself since several factors can<br />effect consumtion... be safe and use 1/3 rule.<br />(1/3 out, 1/3 back, 1/3 reserve)<br />cuz u never know...<br />safe boating,<br />M.Y.
