Does anyone recognize make/model/year of this (suspected) 13' Whaler clone?

Buddy is looking at a boat. Seller claims it's a 1970 13' Boston Whaler, but I think it's a clone. There is no identifying info on it that can be found.

So, anyone got some insight into possible make / model / approx year on this boat? Is it a Whaler?

what does the title state it is. without proper title and paperwork its a yard planter

being almost 50 years old, it could be a clone, it could be a whaler, either way, its been modified a bit and has a few extra layers of what could be gel or paint.

also, with old whalers, you need to weight them. the foam in the hulls gets water logged because people screw things to the inner hull and dont seal the screw holes. most are about 500# heavy and no longer could float if needed.

and no, you cant dry them out.
