I purchased a 1994 Yamaha 130 for my bass boat. It runs great. I got a Yamaha service manual for it and the specs show that a 130 should have between 134psi and 164psi. I had a compression test done on it before I bought it and it was 125, 129, 130,134. Will this motor be able to produce 130 horsepower if the compression is below specs?

no

yes, compression is directly tied to power output

try yamaha ring-free to see if your compression numbers come back up.

Those numbers look good to me for that v4. Especially if cold and gauge variance
